    Damn its good! I really need to come more often. Wing wings has been a mainstay in the Lower Haight for years. They specialize in wings and fried chicken. The staff is friendly and willing to make recommendations. I ordered wings to go. They were cooked fresh. The wings are meaty and well seasoned. The sides are large and delicious. Items were packed to stay hot and with holes in the fries to avoid soggy steam - Thanks! Not recommended for groups who want to dine in. It was never a fancy place, but the cool menu that was up a few years ago needs replacing. Hopefully after the pandemic they can add a few upgrades and new menu items.

    We needed a quick bite before going to a show nearby and the smells and music coming out of this hole in the wall beckoned us. They have a few bar stools to eat inside but tons of people came for take out while we were there. I had the chicken salad sandwich on a biscuit, my friend had wings with a mild sauce, and we split the fried plantains. All of this was delicious (including their on-the-table sauces) and exceeded our expectations. Another bonus is they had a pretty extensive selection of bottled beers to wash it all down. I would definitely go back when I don't have the time for a sit down meal or even get some of that chicken salad to go!

    I ordered 10 wings half "hot buffalo" and half "wing wings" (BBQ, soy sauce, teriyaki base). both are good, above average. even better if you also put some orange sauce from the plastic bottle on the counter. Habanero Sauce, Hella Hot, Hella Good! invest in wet napkins & celery, dude.
